Antar shows that Letitia James falsely claimed a property she purchased in Norfolk, Virginia would be her “primary residence” in mortgage documents in 2023. The designation affected underwriting criteria, risk evaluation, interest rates, and insurance rates, giving James financial advantages she was not entitled to given her primary residence was in Brooklyn.
