In a press release on Friday, April 11, the White House defended President Trump’s bold second-term agenda as representing the president’s interests in rebuilding the American middle class rather than protecting American elites.
The White House quoted President Trump from a speech on Thursday night as saying,
“I’m proud to be the president for the workers, not the outsourcers; the president who stands up for Main Street, not Wall Street; who protects the middle class, not the political class; and who defends America, not trade cheaters all over the globe.”
President Trump’s tariff policy has been criticized by leftists and Wall Street elites, who fail to acknowledge their opposition’s mission to bring American jobs back home and protect the middle class.
The White House quoted President Trump regarding his America First policy as saying,
“Our opponents are terrified that our strategy will succeed… We’re going to prove that all of their treasonous years of betrayal will not be forgotten.
“The shrill voices that you’re hearing this week about tariffs are the same scoundrels and frauds who never thought twice about when the United States lost 90,000 factories and plants… since NAFTA,” President Trump said.
On Wednesday, April 9, The Gateway Pundit reported that President Trump signed executive orders intended to “unleash the might of our beautiful clean coal industry” in an effort to restore American energy dominance.
President Trump’s energy policy targeting the growth and sustainability of American manufacturing jobs evidently works in tandem with Trump’s tariff policy.
Moreover, in his opening monologue to begin Friday morning’s War Room podcast, Steve Bannon echoed President Trump’s America First plan.
“5 million manufacturing jobs have gone; 9 million Americans are working two jobs. 60 percent of Americans put their hands on $1000 in cash in case of an emergency. The elites have made paupers of the American people. And President Trump is saying, ‘We’ve had enough of this.’
“The American people have stood on their feet in every crisis in the world to free more people in the world and create more wealth for everyone in the world. And the time is now to take care of the American people,” Bannon said.
You can watch Bannon’s Friday monologue below.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Bannon outlined the current geo-political state of play regarding President Trump’s trade war with China.
“As President Trump re-organizes the global world order around America First and American Citizens First, both geo-economically and geo-strategically… the CCP has been at war with the United States [through] cyber war, economic war, political warfare, psychological warfare… unrestricted warfare, to bring down the west. It’s their doctrine. And they’ve been at it for 20-25 years,” Bannon said.
Will President Trump finally put an end to the endless wars and the theft of American wealth?
